Report Broken Links or Website Errors

We work hard to keep Campsite Directory free from errors. However Campsite Directory is a large website with thousands of pages and listings. The broken links and error reporting form below is an easy way to quickly report any errors so we can fix them.

If you are a campsite or camping business the best place to maintain your correct business details centrally for all our websites is on the International Camping Club website.

Broken Links

What is a broken link? Websites include links to both other pages on the same website and links to other external websites. If you click on any links on Campsite Directory and are taken to a page that does not exist that could be because the page the link points to either does not exist any longer or there is a mistake in the link itself such as a typing error.

Why report it? If you come across a broken link it can be frustrating if you tell us we can fix it so that you and other users don't have the same problem again with that link. Please do tell us as we will put it right.

Listing Errors

Campsite Directory only aims to list campsites in the directory that accept tents, touring caravans and motorhomes.

If you come across a listing in the directory of UK campsites that does not accept any of these please let us know so that we can remove the listing.

If you come across any other errors such as a telephone number or address for a listing that is incorrect please let us know so that we can correct it and keep the directory up to date.

We do liaise with listings themselves and encourage all listings to register with us to keep their details up to date but sometime people forget to update their records to reporting any errors is helpful for all users.

Please cut and paste the whole address of the Campsite Directory web page that CONTAINS the broken link
e.g. www.campsitedirectory.co.uk/contact/report-broken-links-or-errors.asp (not the destination page) into the box and we will check that page to make sure all links from that page are correct and working and fix any errors.

How do I do this? It is easy. If you get taken to a failed page at the top of your broswer you will see the full web address for the page you were incorrecly linked to that does not work for one reason or other. Highlight the whole web address by holding down the shift key, the left button on your mouse and dragging the cursor over the address, then once highligted hold down the Ctrl key and click "c"  (or use edit copy) then come back to this page and point to the broken link submission box and click Ctrl "v" (or edit paste") to copy the link error into the box above. This is the same principle for copying anything in any windows software.

Details of Error: (e.g. "telephone number for xxxxx (name of listing) is wrong" or "StarView in Devon does not accept tents, touring caravans or motorhomes only has statics") (at least 25 characters. letters and numbers only and no more than 250 characters in length)

NB: If you are a campsite warden or listing owner you should also register with the International Camping Club to ensure your site or business details are correct and maintain your record online and notify any changes or amendments to your business details. Otherwise your listing is could be removed altogether at some point.
