A caravan and camping site exclusively for adults situated in the Dartmoor National Park in Devon. This is a tranquil and secluded site that caters for caravans, motor homes, tents and backpackers. Access is quick and easy from the A30. Ideal for those wishing to go caravanning and camping in Dartmoor and Devon and an ideal base for discovering Cornwall and the South West. Surrounded by farm and woodland with walks from the site. Dogs and pets are welcome. Chris and Jan Patrick own and run the site and would welcome the opportunity to be your hosts.

This site are now Calor agents so you can get your gas onsite.

Don't forget Devon is not a county you go through to get to Cornwall it is a beautiful place in its own right and many folk from Cornwall come here to get away from it all.

Woodland Springs is situated in the north east part of Dartmoor National Park about 1.5 miles from Whiddon Down on the A382 off the A30. We are in the hamlet of Venton, it is not shown on most maps due to the small size of the hamlet. We have excellent access, Exeter, Plymouth and the English Riviera are all accessible from here as is Cornwall and Somerset. There are a great many things to see and do in the area.

The area has many National Trust properties in the area including Castle Drogo, Finch Foundry, The Church House, Teign Valley and Fingle Bridge. Also in the area are many lakes and reservoirs like Fernworthy Reservoir where you can walk and take in the fresh air or fish and many other local attractions like Bowden Hostas.
